Re: [Help Wanted] Issue with changing DocumentRoot in php catridge

Hi Tony.

Have you tried to export the env var OPENSHIFT_PHP_DOCUMENT_ROOT using rhc?

    $ rhc envset OPENSHIFT_PHP_DOCUMENT_ROOT=relative/path/to/repodir

Also note that "restart" is not the same as "stop+start". The first will not reevaluate env vars since apache's main process never ends, just kill everyone and start all again.

I have been stuck with this bug ( https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1249279 ) for a long time with Openshift, and my deployed website ( http://www.thinkfoss.com/ ) gets 404 very often. The problem is that the website needs a different DocumentRoot, and there is no effective way to do the same in OpenShift as of now.

I face a similar problem with our Phabricator install too, which too needs a different webroot. Can someone look into the same, and help me sorted out.
