Re: Websocket and scaled apps

Its a limitation of the haproxy cartridge. In a non-scalable app, we have the websocket feature, but for a scalable cartridge haproxy version 1.4 will kill the long standing connections.
No near-term fix, but one of them could be to replace haproxy cartridge with one that runs version 1.5 (assuming that it does support websockets).

Subject: Websocket and scaled apps

Hi,

I am trying to build a jetty websocket cartridge.
https://github.com/AtosWorldline/openshift-cartridge-jetty-websocket

It works well for not scaled applications. But with scaling, it fails on the websocket protocol. The connection get closed.

Here is a not scalable, working application : http://noscale-filirom1.rhcloud.com/
And there a scalable, not working application : http://scale-filirom1.rhcloud.com/

Do you have any idea how to fix it ?

Cheers
Romain
