Also, the admin guide mentions JBossEAP and EWS packages which are missing when I do a yum search. Could my repo be broken ?

These commands should get you sorted out:
# cd /var/www/openshift/broker
# rm Gemfile.lock
# bundle install --local
# service openshift-broker restart

You may also want to do the same with the console as well:
# cd /var/www/openshift/console
# rm Gemfile.lock
# bundle install --local
# service openshift-console restart

Newer versions of the broker/console systemd service definitions \
should do this for you as well (This was just updated earlier this
week).
