Thanks, still no good though.

No mariadb in /usr/libexec/openshift/cartridges, mysql is clearly
there though.

I ran the mentioned command.
[root strife ~]# /usr/sbin/oo-admin-cartridge --recursive -a install
- -s /usr/libexec/openshift/cartridges/
succeeded
[root strife ~]#

Still, when i attempt to add a database cartridge to an existing
application, it shows me maria, not mysql.  Also, i still cannot
create drupal/wordpress applications.

What did i miss?
