That's a known issue - it's been fixed upstream but should be possible to back port easily.  What's happened (probably) is that an app is missing all gears and so the broker doesn't set a "framework" attribute in the rest API which breaks the console.

The change was to console/app/models/application.rb and added the framework attribute to the "schema" elements at the top of the page.
