I just found an oo-diagnostics command from OpenShift and when I run it this is what I get in my fresh recent installation. I hope these logs helps:

Could you give me a list of the openshift rpms you have installed?
The output of 'rpm -qa | grep openshift' would be sufficient.  I
believe you may be running an older version of the broker rpm.

I got the same issues than Arunabha and this are my packages:

Thanks a lot Jason, that works ....
I can go to the settings page now. However /console/application_types
seems to be broken now (clicking on "create your first application
now"). I'm getting an error page with
  An error has occurred
You can try refreshing the page, if the problem is temporary.
You can also try the following:

        * Seek assistance in the [1]support forum.
        * Join [2]IRC channel #openshift on Freenode.
        * If you are experiencing a repeatable error not related to a
    service
outage, [3]report it as a bug.
      Reference #41309618faf3cdb9715197e37cae17cb

Could you pastebin the following logs?
    production.log from /var/log/openshift/broker and
    /var/log/openshift/console
    access_log and error_log from /var/log/openshift/broker/httpd and
    /var/log/openshift/console/httpd
Without further information, my best guess is that the console is
being denied access to the broker for a path that should be allowed.
