Ok Folks, after chatting with Krishna, I did a reinstall on a new system and it worked perfectly :-)

One thing I noticed it that any yum actions gives the following lines...
Loaded plugins: versionlock
Repository 'jenkins_repo' is missing name in configuration, using id
Repository 'origin-base' is missing name in configuration, using id
Repository 'origin-deps' is missing name in configuration, using id

Could you give me a list of the openshift rpms you have installed?
The output of 'rpm -qa | grep openshift' would be sufficient.  I
believe you may be running an older version of the broker rpm.

    Without further information, my best guess is that the console is
    being denied access to the broker for a path that should be allowed.

      Arunabha, Jason's instructions above will sort out your existing
      Origin deployment. We're working on replacing the copy of our
  puppet
      module on puppetlabs so that this is no longer a problem.
