Re: Problems while installing OpenShift Origin

I'm guessing you're following the comprehensive guide: http://openshift.github.io/documentation/oo_deployment_guide_comprehensive.html#prerequisite-mcollective-client

Curiously, it doesn't mention the need for the optional channel as in the puppet guide http://openshift.github.io/documentation/oo_deployment_guide_puppet.html#enterprise-prerequisites
"Optional" repository - enable depending on your source:
* yum-config-manager --enable rhel-6-server-optional-rpms
* Under RHN classic, enable the rhel-x86_64-server-optional-6 channel

I'm not sure what else might be outdated or inaccurate now :(

Hi,

I am trying to setup OpenShift locally on my VM. The VM is running RHEL 6.4. However I get stuck at following step,
yum install -y mcollective-client
Loaded plugins: aliases, changelog, downloadonly, kabi, presto, product-id, refresh-packagekit, security, subscription-manager, tmprepo, verify, versionlock This system is not registered to Red Hat Subscription Management. You can use subscription-manager to register.

You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem

You could try running: rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest

It complains missing rubygem. Which rubygem is needed for installing mcollective? Thanks for the help.
