Re: logout button on origin console



Hey Patrick--
Basic authentication (what Origin uses by default) is actually handled at the browser level, so making an app logout button is tricky. Clear browser history (or using a private browsing session) is heavy-handed but does the job. For a less all-or-none approach, you could investigate browser-specific plugins that just clear the basic auth.

Firefox has a plugin that seems to handle this:
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/http-logout/

Check it out and see if that solves your current needs.
