Re: Which gear lives on which node in which app?

+++ Dan Trainor [16/10/14 11:48 -0600]:
Hi -

Is there a way to view all gears and tell me which node a particular
gear resides on?

"rhc app ... ... --gears" doesn't give me the kind of granularity I'm
looking for. Looks like we can get a fair amount of info by parsing
oo-stats, but I'm looking for something more digestible.

If you run 'rhc app show $APP --gears' then you will see the fully
qualified hostname. From there you can use dig to see the CNAME to
the real node. Is that what you are looking for?

I sent you a message on irc but it seems you were having connection
problems. What you're asking sound related to
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1152318.  If you have a
different use case please detail it there and we'll take it in to
consideration as well.

Thanks!
