Re: Connect to Mysql

Hello, thanks for your answer.

Is for openshift 3

When I do:

oc exec mysql-pod env|grep MYSQL

The result is:

# oc exec mysql-example-1-0fpj9 env|grep MYSQL

MYSQL_USER=test

MYSQL_PASSWORD=test

MYSQL_DATABASE=testdb

MYSQL_EXAMPLE_SERVICE_PORT=3306

MYSQL_EXAMPLE_PORT=tcp://172.30.222.94:3306

MYSQL_EXAMPLE_PORT_3306_TCP_PROTO=tcp

MYSQL_EXAMPLE_SERVICE_HOST=172.30.222.94

MYSQL_EXAMPLE_SERVICE_PORT_MYSQL_PORT=3306

MYSQL_EXAMPLE_PORT_3306_TCP=tcp://172.30.222.94:3306

MYSQL_EXAMPLE_PORT_3306_TCP_PORT=3306

MYSQL_EXAMPLE_PORT_3306_TCP_ADDR=172.30.222.94

MYSQL_VERSION=5.5

How I can use this MYSQL from other PC with IP 192.168.X.X or it's impossible? And Can I access from SSH to this MYSQL from PC with IP 192.168.X.X?

Thanks.

Is for on OpenShift version 2 (Online) or OpenShift 3.  In either case, you should have environment variables that were created that you can use.

$ env|grep MYSQL

Hello,

When I create an app in Openshift like mysql. How I can connect with this mysql from other PC.

This is my schema:

PC User - 192.168.X.X

MYSQL Service - 172.30.x.x 3306

¿Mysql hostname is only accesible from port 80?

The user can't access from 192.168.X.X to 172.30.X.X and he can't log in MYSQL.

¿Is the only way to connect with mysql from the PC user from PhpMyAdmin for example? ¿He can't access to mysql from SSH?
