Re: ImageStream problems on Origin v3

How old/new is your origin code? How long has your master been running? There was a bug we fixed a couple of weeks ago where origin would stop being able to import images from the Hub after it had been running for a couple of hours. It doesn't seem like you're running into that, but it's all I can think of at the moment.

Is it possible enable the rotation of the log ?
Currently in three days the log (master plus nodes) is near to one gb.

Thanks

Do you need to use a proxy to get out to the internet, i.e. to pull images from docker.io?

Do you see any errors in your master's log from factory.go about problems related to the Hub, X-Docker-Token, or importing images?

It looks like the centos imagestream exists, but was not imported from dockerhub successfully.

can you run "oc import-image centos"?  and also show the output of "oc get is centos -o json"

Hi all,
on Origin 3 installed with ansible I've the following problems:

on nodes I've imported the following images

# docker pull openshift/ruby-20-centos7
latest: Pulling from docker.io/openshift/ruby-20-centos7
f1b10cd84249: Already exists
c852f6d61e65: Already exists

befe95af4705: Already exists
d5de68d8a256: Already exists

In the web console I've choosed rails-postgresql-example
the postgresql start correctly but when I try to run the rails build
oc start-build rails-example -n <project>
I receive "Error from server: imageStream "ruby" not found"

Instead if i try to install wordpress with this guide:
https://github.com/openshift/training/blob/master/beta-4-setup.md#arbitrary-docker-image-builder

$ oc new-app -l name=wordpress https://github.com/openshift/centos7-wordpress.git
imagestreams/centos
imagestreams/centos7-wordpress
buildconfigs/centos7-wordpress
deploymentconfigs/centos7-wordpress
services/centos7-wordpress
A build was created - you can run `oc start-build centos7-wordpress` to start it.
Service "centos7-wordpress" created at <ip_redacted> with port mappings 22->22, 80->80.
$ oc start-build centos7-wordpress
Error from server: imageStreamTag "centos:centos7" not found

but the streams seem presents

$ oc get imageStreams
NAME                DOCKER REPO                                      TAGS      UPDATED
centos              library/centos:centos7
centos7-wordpress   <ip_redacted>:5000/wordpress/centos7-wordpress

I've missing some steps about the image streams ?

Thanks
Max
