Re: openshift origin problems with comprehensive deployment

You tried to install OpenShift Origin to Cent OS, right?
If so, could you please tell me which rpm repositories you are using?
(You can check it from /etc/yum.repos.d/*.repo)
I guess you are using it from here:

Unfortunately most repositories in above links have not been updated for almost half a year.
So if you are using it, maybe we should ask the maintainer to update it before troubleshooting.

Sorry this is not answer to your question, but please let us know first.

I've tested openshift all-in-one with oo-install, and it worked perfectly.

then followed the openshift  origin comprehensive deployment guide to install one VM brocker and one VM node.

I had some problmes deploying the installation:

1- I had to modify /etc/httpd/conf.d/ruby193-passenger.conf
          PassengerRuby /opt/rh/ruby193/root/usr/bin/ruby
          PassengerRuby /usr/bin/ruby193-ruby

to get ride of this apache error
/opt/rh/ruby193/root/usr/bin/ruby: error while loading shared libraries: libruby.so.1.9: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

2 - After creating a PHP application with Mysql and Phpmyadmin, I got this error when connecting with this later to mysql
#2002 Cannot log in to the MySQL server

I did not find anything in the log file

3- rhc is not working on CentOS 6 client (fully updated).
unfortunately I didn't keep the logs
I used centos7 as a client machine

and finally what is the difference between openshift origin and openshift entreprise?

Tahnks in advance.
