Yes is it possible to have specific Gear on specific Host:
ex: small - 3G RAM
medium - 8G RAM
large 12 G RAM

When you create the application you specify the size and in this way you ensure it starts on desired host.
The Gear size can’t be changed on the fly, only by recreating the Application.
