Re: insecure routes



Sorry - was OOO, so late to the party. Glad to hear you figured it out and its working for you.
Yeah, the insecure edge termination policy got added a few weeks back - there is some documentation at https://docs.openshift.org/latest/architecture/core_concepts/routes.html#secured-routes  

If it is not easy to find or not clear, then maybe this needs a separate section/updates in that routes doc/page. 
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Actually, I discovered the (undocumented?) insecureEdgeTerminationPolicy in https://github.com/openshift/origin/pull/5224

I added:

  tls:
    termination: edge
    insecureEdgeTerminationPolicy: Redirect

to my route specs, and it's working as expected (I just wanted a redirect).
