Re: How to set up dnsmasq?

If dnsmasq can't bind to port 53, then it's already running (or something else is bound to that same port).

I suggest you to just use /etc/hosts. Simply list all the hosts in the same line in /etc/hosts like this:

52.18.247.58 influxdb.apps.evolane.com wordpress.apps.evolane.com ruby.apps.evolane.com

I have a cluster of one master and 3 nodes of OpenShiftV3. The base OS is Centos7 and it's installed with the help of ansible.
So dnsmasq is already installed. I read it's running on port 53. There is my first issue:
tcp        0      0 0.0.0.0:53              0.0.0.0:*               LISTEN      50009/openshift

So when I type dnsmasq:

[root ip-10-0-0-104 centos]# dnsmasq
dnsmasq: failed to create listening socket for port 53: Address already in use

So here I'm already stuck. I don't find a good explanation of the configuration of dnsmasq. I've never used it.
Do I have to change the port and for which one.

At the moment I have a working router and routes.
But I can only access them by defining them in my /etc/hosts of my real computer:
#52.18.247.58 jenkins.apps.evolane.com
#52.18.247.58 myphp.apps.evolane.com
#52.18.247.58 sample.apps.evolane.com
#52.18.247.58 ruby.apps.evolane.com
#52.18.247.58 wordpress.apps.evolane.com
52.18.247.58 influxdb.apps.evolane.com

I can access only one dns a time. So now I can only visit influxdb.apps.evolane.com. That's the reason why I want some easy DNS solution.
