Hi

Running start-build with --from-dir option is resulting in the following output.

Uploading directory "transaction-authority-lite" as binary input for the build ...
build "transaction-auth-lite-3" started
Receiving source from STDIN as archive ...
Extracting...
tar: CoreUtils.java.svn-base: numeric overflow in sparse archive member
tar: weblogic-application.xml.svn-base: numeric overflow in sparse archive member
....

It's not just svn-base files. Regular java files and other types throw the same error.

I have another binary build which is working fine albeit with less files in it.

Any ideas how to get around this?

known issue i'm afraid.  a fix was delivered, if you are in a position to update to the latest code.

https://github.com/openshift/origin/pull/11087

-bash-4.2$ oc version
oc v1.3.0
kubernetes v1.3.0+52492b4
features: Basic-Auth GSSAPI Kerberos SPNEGO

Thanks

Lionel.
