Re: openshift origin graphs?

Hi Hetz,

Under "openshift-infra" project, make sure hawkular-cassandra, hawkular-metrics and heapster are running and the link to hawkular-metrics.<subdomain> works.

The first sounds like the topology visualisation. This was dropped and is not in recent OpenShift versions.

I see...

The others are metric charts. You need to enable installation of metrics in the Ansible setup file when installing. Have you done that?

Just added it. IMHO 2 fixes are needed:

  1. The roles in the ansible files which checks for python-passlib should also look for python2-passlib since that's what comes with CentOS 7.3 (and I assume RHEL 7.3)
  2. The documentation for adding metrics to the openshift cluster should mention that on your host which you run the ansible-playbook - you should install python2-passlib (and correct the the file roles/openshift_metrics/tasks/main.yaml) as well as httpd-tools and java-1.8.0-openjdk-headless - or else the playbook running will fail.
